Wexford Local Development is very proud of the significant achievements of the 2009-2015 LEADER Programme in Co. Wexford. We supported 396 individual projects and paid out over €9.2 million in grant aid over a 5 year period. This grant aid was distributed to community groups and small businesses in all parts of Co. Wexford and lead to job creation and a huge increase in community activities and facilities. The projects we grant aided covered a wide range of economic, cultural, environmental and social activities and have helped to create and sustain vibrant rural communities.

 

We have published a review of our work on LEADER in Co. Wexford from 2009-2015. This publication will give you a flavour of some of the projects supported by Wexford Local Development since 2009 and the role LEADER played in supporting local communities and small businesses over the past number of years.
