Breaking news! Wexford features prominently in the latest edition of ‘Changing Ireland’ magazine, the national magazine of the Local and Community Development Programme. Congratulations to Stephen Doyle of the Wexford Youth Action Group on the publication of his first piece of journalism – Stephen’s article on the Tus/LCDP Youth Employment Programme in Enniscorthy is well worth a read. Siobhán O’Brien of WLD also has a piece on the Youth Guarantee and what it could mean for Local Development Companies across the country.

 

Many of the young people who took part in the Media Skills workshop facilitated by Allen Meagher of Changing Ireland in November also feature in an article about being young and unemployed in Co. Wexford. Well done to all Wexford Youth Action Group members on what has been a very productive first few months!
