What is the National Local Development Enterprise Awards 2016?

The National LDC Enterprise Award 2016 is a new initiative to recognise people who have successfully set up their own businesses and have since identified sustainability and growth potential.

 

Who can apply?

Wexford based businesses who received support through Wexford Local Development under either the Back to Work Enterprise Allowance Scheme (BTWEA) or, Short Term Enterprise Allowance Scheme (STEA).

 

What is Wexford Local Development’s Role?

Wexford Local Development is the lead organisation in the East Region and we are now calling for applicants to enter the National Award Competition.

 

Why should you apply?

Representing the East Region, Wexford Local Development has the opportunity to enter 3 finalists to partake in the National Local Development Enterprise Awards 2016 scheduled to take place on 15th September 2015 in Dublin.

Each of the three finalists put forward for the National Local Development Enterprise Awards 2016 competition will receive an award of €1,000.00.

In addition, a professional videography will be provided to the 3 finalists who can be used to showcase, market and promote the business on social media.

 

The overall winner of the overall National Local Development Enterprise Award will receive €3,000.00, the runner up will receive €2,000.00 and the business in third place will receive €1,000.00.

Friday, 17th June 2016.

Upon receipt of your application you will be contacted to attend a meeting which will allow you to tell us more about your business and your achievements to-date.

 

When will the 3 East Region Finalists be announced?

Wexford Local Development will be inviting all applicants to attend an event in July 2016 which will allow you the opportunity to showcase and promote your business.

Our 3 East Regional finalists will be announced at this event, and each business will be presented with a small token for participation.
