Community Workers from Wexford attended the Community Work Ireland/AIEB regional workshop in The Presentation Arts Centre, Enniscorthy today.

This was an opportunity to network with other Community Workers from different projects and from FDYS County Wexford, Kilkenny LEADER Partnership, Buíon Phort Láirge & County Wicklow Partnership

We discussed the work – task and process; the challenges and opportunities in a changing global context and explored an interesting question about ideally what we would like to see for Community Workers in Ireland.

Huge thanks to CWI & AIEB for coming to Co. Wexford, a visit that allowed so many more Community Workers to connect locally and across the region and help shape the way forward for Community Development/Community Work, essential for the creation of a just and equal society.
