Cornmarket Project Team Annual Event in Wexford

Cornmarket Project Team Annual Event in Wexford

Last Friday, our full Cornmarket Project team gathered in Wexford for our annual event, this year marking the close of our 25th anniversary. Fifty-two colleagues from across our four centres came together to review the year, share frontline learning, and plan for 2026. It was an opportunity to recognise the commitment that drives all our services, from harm reduction and homelessness support, to recovery, rehabilitation, and community safety.

We were also very pleased to welcome six members of the Wexford Probation Service team. This partnership plays a central role in our responsibility-focused, behaviour-change, and community-engagement work. Their insight and collaboration continue to strengthen the support we provide to people affected by addiction and criminality.

As our event coincided with International Restorative Justice Week, we highlighted the updated REFRAME model, a Motivational Interviewing-based approach to delivering Restorative Justice and introduced a new video that explains the model and its application. REFRAME supports safer and more meaningful participation in restorative justice work and reinforces our commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred practice.

After 25 years, the Cornmarket Project remains anchored in its core mission: supporting people facing addiction, homelessness, and offending behaviour, and contributing to safer and more connected communities across County Wexford.

Thank you to every member of our team for your work, your resilience, and the care you show every day.
