Today, community leaders from Enniscorthy involved in the Shannon Way project braved the November showers to visit New Ross and explore its impressive public realm developments.
From the striking Norman Way murals to the scenic High Hill, the Emigrant Park on the Quay, and the inviting recreational spaces in Pearse Park, there was no shortage of ideas to bring back to the Shannon.
The visit wrapped up with a warm cuppa and bite to eat at the Dunbrody Famine Ship, where the Enniscorthy team alongside Julie, our Enniscorthy Community Worker, and John from Enniscorthy Community Alliance met with Enid, our New Ross Community Worker.
We’re excited to see the benefits of this community exchange and the creative sparks it has ignited!
