WLD is delighted to have signed a LEADER grant aid contract with Wexford Home Preserves.

Tom and Laura Sinnott have had an incredible run this year – recently winning Gold at the World Marmalade Awards 2026, after a stellar Christmas period that cemented their Simply Better products on menus across the country through Dunnes Stores. It is always a pleasure working with such a professional outfit.

This LEADER grant of approximately €98,000 will support equipment upgrades which will enable the business to grow and add to their team, while staying true to their craft. While Wexford Home Preserves continues to expand, mass production has never been their goal – and that’s exactly the kind of niche, sustainable food innovation that LEADER supports.

Good news for Wexford food & beverage producers – funding is still available!

LEADER grants of €5k-€150k are still available for niche and innovative food & beverage businesses, with up to 60% funding for equipment, facilities and marketing costs.
