WLD is delighted to have signed a LEADER grant aid contract this week for an innovative project bringing fresh milk vending machines to Adamstown and Enniscorthy.

LEADER funding is supporting local dairy farmer, James Kelly, to establish a pasteurisation facility and install self-service vending huts in two community locations. The project will provide premium milk and milkshakes directly to locals, using reusable glass bottles.

By keeping distribution local and using reusable bottles, the project reduces food miles and eliminates single-use packaging.
This is a great example of how LEADER funding helps farmers and food / beverage producers diversify, reach new markets, and build connections with community.

LEADER grants of €5k-€150k are available for niche and innovative Wexford food and beverage producers, with up to 60% funding for:
