Enterprise Supports BTWEA

Wexford Local Development administers the Back to Work Enterprise Allowance (BTWEA) scheme on behalf of DSP. To check eligibility for either scheme your client must talk to your local INTREO Case Officer. Clients must be referred by DSP to Wexford Local Development, where an Enterprise Officer will then meet with the client and guide them through the process. The process can take 8-12 weeks to complete from the first meeting with Wexford Local Development.

Clients that are eligible for BTWEA and referred to WLD by an INTREO officer will be offered training which includes Pre-Enterprise Training, Bookkeeping & Taxation, and Business Mentoring.

The Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) is co-funded by the Irish Government, through the Department of Rural and Community Development and the European Union through the European Social Fund Plus under the Employment, Inclusion, Skills and Training (EIST) Programme 2021 -2027.”
