Wexford businesses can access grant funding of up to €150,000 through the LEADER programme to support growth, innovation, and job creation.
LEADER supports new and expanding enterprises in three sectors:
We support tourism businesses that create memorable visitor experiences and help more people discover Wexford. This includes attractions, activities, and alternative types of accommodation that strengthen local employment and extend visitor stays.
LEADER funds niche and innovative Wexford food and beverage producers that bring something unique to Ireland’s food scene.
The bioeconomy promotes the sustainable use of products, services, and by-products from sectors such as agri-food, forestry, construction, fisheries, and aquaculture. The circular economy maintains the value of products, materials and resources in the economy, minimising waste. Together, they are key to achieving climate neutrality — and LEADER supports enterprises that are helping make the circular / bioeconomy central to Wexford’s economy.
Applicants must have fewer than 250 employees and operate in County Wexford.
